Spring 2020 SBLL Season FAQs
When does the season start?
Practices start in late January or early February (depending on division and team). Opening Day (when games start) will be TBD. The season will end in mid-May, with play-offs for draft divisions in mid-late May, and All-Stars (for AAA and Majors only) continuing after that.
Where are the games and practices?
- Majors: Solana Vista Elementary
- AAA: Solana Vista Elementary
- AA: CDC (off Cedros, across from train station), with some games at Solana Vista.
- A and T-Ball: CDC, and/or Solana Vista
What division is my player in? (See "Divisions" tab on Home page for additional detail)
- Majors: Player pitch, highest level of play (usually ages 10 to 12).

When will practices be?
That is up to your coach as well as dependent on field availability. Draft division teams practice usually twice per week during pre-season and once per week once games begin. Non-draft divisions (A and T-ball) usually practice once per week. Please note that almost all teams practice at least part of the season on Sundays due to games being held during the week and on Saturdays.
When will I hear from my coach?
Drafts and team assignments will be in mid-late January (after tryouts). Managers will begin contacting players soon thereafter. If you haven’t heard from your coach by February 10th 2020, please email
