Notes on Playoff Schedule:

• A championship playoff tournament is played in SBLL’s upper divisions (AA, AAA, Majors).
  
• The final regular season games for these divisions will be played Saturday, May 4, and playoff games will begin during the following week.
  
• Playoff matchups will be determined by regular season seeding, and game dates have been organized so that higher seeded teams have the advantage of extra rest days between games. 
  
• Please ensure that your teams are available to play on any date between Monday, May 6, and Saturday, May 18, because schedules and game times will depend upon each day’s results.
  
• Playoff brackets are organized to be double elimination tournaments until Championship Saturday.  The playoff bracket is organized as double elimination, meaning that, once a team loses, they will move into the Elimination Bracket.  After losing their second game, teams will be eliminated from the playoffs.  Once two teams remain, however, they will meet in a Winner Take All championship game on Championship Saturday.
  
• AA playoff games will be played at CDC.  AAA playoff games will be played at Solana Vista on the AAA field.  Majors playoff games will be played at Solana Vista on the Majors field.
  
• ALL CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES WILL THEN BE PLAYED ON SATURDAY, 5/18, AT SOLANA VISTA ON THE MAJORS FIELD.
